I woke up in Nyack, NY (new JO’C/Kiam Records headquarters) took the Metro North to Grand Central Station, then the 7 train to the E train to the Air Train. I left my favorite jacket at security checkpoint. I saw this dog who I loved and snuck a photo of in the terminal and then he ended up on my flight, which I found reassuring.

I flew to Seattle.
I am not a big flyer. The last time I flew was in 2009 to do a west coast tour so this was kind of a big deal for me. Chris Brokaw picked me up at the airport and he drove us to The Crocodile.

Chris Brokaw is my bro and I am super psyched to be touring with him for 2 weeks. We met a several years back at a Bob Dylan tribute concert at Lincoln Center where we were both performing. He was playing with Bob Mould. I was singing with Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and Patti Smith (what?). Anyway, I was a huge fan already so it was cool to meet him and now it’s even cooler that he is my pal.
This is him during soundcheck last night:

Chris’ set was so good. You guys have to come to these shows!
